Okay, here is my dilemma:

My GF and her family are in love with DW and want to go on a trip sometime... they want to pay to bring me.
I happen to hate Walt Disney, their brain-numbing reactionary movies and support of rulers abroad... I don't really want to support them <_<

Ideas on what to do? Useful resources?

Walt Disney was a racist, a fascist, a rabid anti-communist testifying at the House Committee of UnAmerican(transcript below) and an obvious exploiter of children.

There is a NO FLY ZONE over both Disney Land & Disney World, but not over the 103 Nuclear power plants in the US!

Racist cartoons.

Fascist dialouge:

HA Smith: What is your personal opinion of the Communist Party, Mr. Disney,
as to whether or not it is a political party?

Walt Disney: Well, I don't believe it is a political party. I believe it is an
un-American thing. The thing that I resent the most is that they are
able to get into these unions, take them over, and represent to the
world that a group of people that are in my plant, that I know are
good, one-hundred-percent Americans, are trapped by this group, and
they are represented to the world as supporting all of those
ideologies, and it is not so, and I feel that they really ought to be
smoked out and shown up for what they are, so that all of the good,
free causes in this country, all the liberalisms that really are
American, can go out without the taint of communism. That is my
sincere feeling on it.

HA Smith: There are presently pending before this committee two bills
relative to outlawing the Communist Party. What thoughts have you as
to whether or not those bills should be passed?

Walt Disney: Well, I don't know as I qualify to speak on that. I feel if the
thing can be proven un-American that it ought to be outlawed. I think
in some way it should be done without interfering with the rights of
the people. I think that will be done. I have that faith. Without
interfering, I mean, with the good, American rights that we all have
now, and we want to preserve.

she knows how you feel about capitalism... hating Disney shouldn't come as a surprise if she knows how feel about capitalism

No leftist in thier right mind would support disney (with your money or not). If you go you are supporting worldwide opression plain and simple. i personally could not do it for reasons other than political. you will see a bunch of materialistic and fat american brainwashing thier children. I is truely one of the most disgusting places on the planet.

yes but the most effective means to smash this corporation would not be to get a few people to boycott but to actually destroy it. :)

True; still though, I would be throwing more money on thier fire, that roasts children to a reactionary crisp.

What's wrong with Disney? apart from being a corporation and making a few racist cartoons back in the 40s and 50s (Arguably products of the era) I can't think of anything.

you are doing the same by buying from grocery stores, riding around in cars that use gasoline, working on a computer that might use microsoft, etc. you cant boycott everything, why would you want to?

Old Walt was in front of HUAC at one time, so I wouldn't be too quick to judge him, granted a lot of people were in front of HUAC for no good reason, who knows, there is a possibility.

I'm in a similar situation where I have to go to Disney to play with my school band. If I didn't go it would be very hard for the rest of the band to go.

Just go. The revolution will correct that place in time. As long as you make up for it by working for the revolution, there's no problem with it.

Well, it's pretty much impossible to escape capitalism in a world dominated by it. Sometimes we just have to give in to it, if only for a few days.

Certain things you don't necessarily have to buy from the multi-billionaire companies... entertainment is one.
Better to not give them money and give money to someone else than to give them money.

It's like going to McDonald's when there's a locally-owned restaurant whose profits won't go directly to the haute bourgeoisie.

It's really a matter of a lesser of two evils. Your money is gonna end up in the hands of other people anyways... should it be small capitalists or big capitalists?
And does it matter?

Is supporting oppression okay because it would speed things up in terms of reaching the material conditions suitable for revolution?

Would that not be a case of the ends justifying the means?

How about just going, then setting the place on fire on your way out? :)
