According to the Public Records released in the UK today, the Prime Minister in 1972, Edward Heath, ordered tabs to be kept on schoolchild leftists...free speech my arse.

Shit, that's scary, I wonder if Tony would do the same? He's probably to concerned about other stuff to worry about us! It's interesting to hear this anyway, does any one know if their tabs ever had an effect?

proof that the ruling class started to shit their pants.

Im pissed I was never an agitator at school, although it was only in 2001 I didnt give a crap about telling people about socialism and how our school was like a fascist state within our country... I wish I could go back and create havoc

How old are you, NZ?

So what shall I do to wake up these teens and alert them to the world that they are growing up in? I think there's little I can do considering where I am at school and the huge amount of conservatives here, one of the major pitfalls of a private education!

I can still try, but I need inspiration. Any ideas?

FUCK I WROTE HUGE POST NOW ITS GONE!!!

Im 18.

You could try using music to get through to people. Like Punk, IM guessing you listen to some punk by things you've said. Rage you like Rage? Of course you do, who doesnt. You could tell people what they stand for, as they prolly wouldnt even know their names.

If you have a common room you could put mini posters on the walls, and so on.

Sorry if I sound cranky, but I wrote out a big post with heaps of ideas, but I really have to get back to painting sorry

BTW how old are you ;)

It gets worse. I read another article yesterday which said that the MI5 closed down a young Trotskyite action group run by Vanessa Redgrave in the 1980s. She took legal action but it was settled out of court...which probably meant she got alotta cash in her back pocket. I can't find the article online for some reason. These Public Records are shocking.

nz revolution, I'm 16.

I have to admit, and this makes me ashamed, I don't actually own any RATM and I haven't heard a lot.

Thing is, I'm against a brick wall here. Most potential leftists are aer my friends so I don't need to alert them to the problems in society, and the other people are all capis, without a hope.

I guess I could try but any posters I'll put up with get pulled down almost immediately (GR, remember the boycott the goth-rule posters?). i could write an essay and put it in the school mag, that's the best thing I can think of.

GR, I am shocked by this news, Britain is disgusting isn't it?!

dont worry about the rage thing, you' probably discover them soon :P

i spose that is all you can really do then, influence your friends. there is a song by one minute silence (u must know them? they are brits, and anarchists) going on about changing one, you change 2, change 2 you change four. Hopefully it will work like that :)

see ya round
