How tall was he, and how much did he weigh?

It seems to me that his weight varied quite a bit. What do you think?

Are you compiling a profile, because you recently posted a topic called "Che at school". Where you asked about his school life.

Not being iffy, just inquisitive.

After the revolution he started taking a new asthma drug which contained steroids. This made him balloon to quite a weight.

Armchair.Socialism, I'm just curious :) When I've been bored I've sometimes thought "how tall is Che?", "How tall was he?", so I posted the question here.

Indigo, thank you, but where did you get that information from? :)

And I don't understand the... Err, your way of measurement. What is it in cm and kg?

His weight fluctuated a lot. After the Cuban Revolution, as I said, a change in his Asthma drugs made him gain some weight. As well as this, I would presume a lack of physical activity on Che's part, didn't help.

However when he was in the Congo and Bolivia, he lost a huge amount of weight through illness and malnutrition.

Oh I'm sorry, I somehow didn't notice your last sentence in your first post.. Why did the medicine contain steroids?

Well, he was building schools, cutting sugarcane in the weekends, traveling a lot, playing golf. Those minor things I think contain some physical activity.

Now I can't remember the exact name of the medicine, it ends with ide. Anyway, there are steroids in Asthma drugs, because when you have an asthma attack, you windpipe becomes inflamed, therefore stopping air getting into your lungs. The steroids stop inflammation, however they also make you crave food and put on weight.

Not the same amount of energy required for fighting a revolution. If you think, when in Cuba after the revolution. Che ate good meals, drank socially etc. the calories from these things, would not have been removed by a bit of exercise.
