On this day, 80 years ago, Vladimir I. Lenin declared the establishment of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. A goal that began strong, and slowly dwindled in a slew of excessive authoritarian tripe.

However, this was only the first - not the last the world will see. This day should not be seen as the beginning of the end but the start of a long journey that will lead us to the New World of freedom, equality, and democracy.

=D

Let us fight, comrades, and maybe in the next 80 years, or the next 80 years from that, we can have an event that would be even greater than the one 80 years ago.

We shouldn't sit and stare at the past...if we want to get things done we can't look to the future either. Look at yourself, look at this moment, look at right now. Let's fight!

Hasta La Victoria Siempre!
