Hey all,

The group I'm working with is trying to put out a few different flyers/newsletters right now but unfortunately we lost the ability to creat .PDF files several months ago (computer crash, and then another guy went into the army)

If anyone with any design experience would be willing to help us out on this, it would be immensely appreciated. Of course the content is all revolutionary communist/anarchist stuff, as produced by the group linked in my sig.

Thanks in advance,

- N

Why PDF? Why not just print RTF's?

my experiences have been almost exclusively with .pdf

would rtf be easier/more accessible?

OpenOffice is a free (beer and speech) office suite similar (ie competing with) M$ Office. The next official release (ver 2) supports exporting documents to pdf format, its currently in Beta so it might be a little unstable but I've been using it for months since the alpha releases and its not crashed once. Plus its available for many different platforms.

You can get more details and download it from here. (http://download.openoffice.org/2.0beta2/index.html)

Cheers
