Hi guys...I'm new here..to learn much about Che.
First of all, I'd like to know about his name..Why we call him Che..Does it mean anything? And what's its origin..?
Can someone tell me about this?

"Che" is an Argentine slang word meaning either "hey" or "friend" - i think it can mean both, i'm not sure.
Ernesto was called Che by the Cubans as he was from Argentina, and Argentines were always using the word.

"che" is an expression very used by argentinian people when they address friendly to someone, it is something like "hey you". When Guevara was with the cubans, many of them never heard an argentinian speaking before, so they called him "Che" since he used a lot that term...

yeah its sort of like a slang to call someone, like "hey you" argentinians and uruguayans use this word. u wouldnt really use it if you were calling someone u just met or didnt know. but who cares i sometimes do.
there are actually to words in argentina and uruguay that are used one is obivously "Che" and the other is "BO"
i use it often, with friends and familiy etc.
