Seriously, check out these kids. They're really good, kinda poppy, but badass nonetheless.

Haha, awww. I like 'em. But I have odd music tastes. I'll be listening to really hateful black metal one moment, then Bonethugz, then this.

If you like them, you might like this (http://www.purevolume.com/redknifelottery) band. They're harder than the Soviettes, more rock than pop.

I'd like to use this opportunity to plug another, fucking amazing, twin cities band - Dillinger (fucking) Four. Their drummer played on The Soviettes first EP - which, coincidently, featured my favorite Soviettes song, "In The Red".
Dillinger Four play something in the same vein - a sort of noisier "pop-punk" - but much heavier (at least, heavier in recent outings) and extremely conscious.

I love The Soviettes, they're not poppy their punk rock but it's a misconception easily made as we are use to thinking "female singers = pop".

Dude, they are good. And they're doing a show in Minneapolis in 3 days. I wish I could go, it's probably sold out already though. I haven't heard anyone say anything about it either. but Of course all the wannabe punk kids were talking about the green day concert last week.

yeah i like them, they seem to sound like the kinda stuff that was on the first tony hawk game, its all good,
and i dont think i could possibly associate a female voice with pop, of course a lot of my favourite bands have female singers and i listen to practicaly everything

if you guys want revolutionary punk rock you should check out antiflag. i'm pretty obsessed with them, but for good reason: [SIZE=14]THIEY'RE AWESOME!!!
[SIZE=1][SIZE=7] they're not neccesarily commies, but no doubt that they're leftists.
