BIG ASS AMERICAN War Ship just arrived in my town! [Archive]

Just a couple of days ago the worlds biggest nucleur war ship docked just outside of my home town Fremantle, Western Australia along with a smaller ship and 2 nucleur subs...... There are presently over 6000 fucking yanky sailors in Fremantle. That may not seem like much, but considering that fremantle is only a small place with a moderate population, they are very noticable. Anyway that isn't the thing that annoys me... Sure they are rude and annoying.... But so are most Australians.... What really pisses me off is that people are welcoming them with open arms... Regardless to the fact that if anything went wrong with this ship (and let's face it most of America's war technology goes wrong) it could wipe out all of Perth (capital of Western Australia) and the fallout would effect all of Australia (and NZ, Indo and probably many more). And now our supposed "labour" state leader is advertising our small local military base as a perfect spot for an American Military base for the war on Iraq. This would not only make us a bigger target (not that i think Iraq will even get a chance to fight back) but it will also destroy the pristine oceanic environment that presently surounds our current base (it is located on an island). Anyway i'm fucking sick of this bullshit... I went to a protest on Sunday when the sailors arrived... But i think it is time for sum more action..... I think i'll have to start approaching yanks and questioning the shit out of them.... Asking them questions like what they think about the millions of Iraqi men, women and children that have died since the Gulf War due to the use of uranium depleted missiles that were used by America against them in the war..... Anyway i'll keep you posted on how it works out..... I promise to go down fighting!

Don't expect anything good, most of those fuckin yanks are so patriotic blind. In southern germany on my holiday ,there were like 4 bases there. All of those yanks were so arrogant.

Yeah that is the problem.. Most of the soldiers are only boys like not much older than 18. Most come from poor backgrounds and have grown up believing everything the system tells them. Media in America is shocking. There are no slightly left wing programs or news stations.... It's all a bunch of sensationalism.... In fact if it wasn't for bands like Tool, Rage Against The Machine and System Of A Down a lot of people would still be living there pathetic ignorant lives. Sad really.... Stupid Americans..... But i mean Blaire is just as fucking bad. And so is Howard. They are all fucked... And yes i would kill them all if i had the chance : ).... But what would be the point? They would just be replaced and the gov would have the sympathy of the public. There is no escape from the system.

I grew up in Panama, so I, too, know what it is to have those arrogant people by my side, not to mention their always present segregation and racism... I actualy live right in between two major American miltary bases, in America. I live in a rich town dominated by the arrogant elite of Pensacola, FL. Everyone here loves America and the American military so much, I'd be killed if I were to protest. Sad, eh?

Yeah Racism is still a huge problem in Aus today. Aboriginal's are continually opressed by white people. It is in a lot of ways worse for Aboriginal ppl then it is for black americans because Aboriginals have been badly effected by alcohol. So much so that the majority of Aboriginals are alcoholics and un-employed. When i walk through Fremantle i am constantly stopped by poor aboriginals who ask for $2 to catch a bus. I know that they will probably just go buy a beer with it. But i give it to them regardless.... Sad isn't it... How white society can destroy so many cultures....

i live near the military HQ for the Gulf War McDill Airforce base in Tampa FL. havent been able to go to a protest there but they are almost weekly. of course the corporate media will only talk about it for 30 seconds. i remember no media attention to the oct 26th protests in DC and San Fran

Hey comrade, Im from NZ, and luckily our governemt has a bit of balls to stand up to the US govt. by not allowing any nuclear war ships or anything nuclear powered into our waters.

I remember seeing a propaganda picture the US had in a magazine of a US ship pulling up to a port and people were on the docks saying "NO!" or "OUT!" cant remeber, then there was a Soviet sub hiding saying "Hehe". We studied that picture in History, stupid fuckin yanks...

Kind of saying that by not allowing a US ship into our harbours that we are Soviet supporters or will get over run by those dirty commies.

Whats more they fucked it up, by having palm trees on our beaches and so on, saying we are a small island in the Pacific, which we are but we dont have palm trees and we arent that small.

Sweet another Aussie. Good to see not all of our population are fucked up morons hey! Yeah me and my mates are going on a bit of an "anti-sailor rampage" this weekend. We are making up sum shirts that basically say "fuck off you facist bastards!". And a lot of my friends work in local restraunts and are refusing to serve the yanks... I'm going to try and organise a protest through the streets of fremantle while they are still here.... 20k hey?? Interesting...... ; ) 6000 times $20 000......... Very interesting!

If a Nclear warship was laying in our austrian waters(ehh we don't have any beaches) the would be forced to go back. Not becasue they are american facists, but because their ships have a nuclear engine and most austrians want to stay completely neutral due to our bad experience in WW2...
Aren't ther many US warships in holland? There are many important ports in holland(Rotterdam...etc.) aren't ther us warships?

Luckily, our government here in Germany doesn't support the yanks with troops ( although half of Germany belongs to them anyway ). They are currently considering it, but if they did, most people here would not tolerate it I think.

However, in order to not anger our great beloved protector ( the freest nation on earth ), they support king George's war against Iraq with our tax money! Thanks to our Warminister Mr. Joschka Fischer ( greens ) and our Chancellor Schröder ( Social Democrats ). HYPOCRITES!!!

Good idea... Apart from the fact i would get thrown in prison for 25 years..... Besides i couldn't fire anything to hardcore at the ship incase it blew up destroying all of Perth and harming all of Australia..... And yeah your right there are a fuckload of ignorant redneck aussies..... But there are a whole bunch of intelligent open minded ppl ("people" for comrade daniel's sake) aswell. This was made obvious when 25 thousand people marched against a war in Iraq a month or 2 ago in Melbourne (or Sydney i can't remember). It has been similar in most other capitals.... 10 000 here and there.... It may not seem like a hell of a lot but it is a start..... My mum used to go with her mum to anti vietnam war rallys when she was a kid..... It started out just her, her mum and 4 other people. But just before Whitlam got in power and pulled our troops out of vietnam there was an estimated 20 000 just in Perth protesting against the war. So i expect as time goes on more and more australians will wake up to the reality of this "war on terror" and realise the disgusting inhumanity of it all. Untill then i'm going to keep on educating people and doing all i can to stop these facist bastards from taking over the world. Hasta la victoria siempre!

See my idea is that everyone who either: hates capitalist society, hates there job, hates not getting paid enough, hates how we are bombing the shit out of everyone etc etc... Just goes on strike, doesn't work and doesn't buy any commercial goods only necessities. If enough people around the world did it the governments would be forced to listen tot he people. I really like this idea; another aproach we may consider is to try to make up a webpage that clearl explains communism, socialism and all the pitfalls people BELIVE exists (probably something like our enemies webpage www.capitali$m.org). This would not only help us spreading the word about communism, but we would have a large faq ready to aid us in discussions.

The most fucked up thing though is that now our supposed left wing state leader Geoff Gallop has sent of an advertising campaign to the Bush Administartion advertising Cockburn Sound as a US military base.... So basically we are fucked..... If anything were to happen to the ships while they were here... All of Aust would be effected..... So i am basically being dropped straight into war.....
