PLAN COLOMBIA AND BEYOND

Just a year ago, on September 17/2004, was murdered sociology professor Alfredo Correa Andreis. A deep humanist compromised with the struggle of displaced peasants, and the quest for human rights and social justice in Colombia, was one of the many thousands victims of the state terrorism used by the colombian oligarchy, best represented in the paramilitary government of Alvaro urive Velez.

I want to share this simple homage to an incredible man who guided me in the understanding of political ideas and the struggle of abolition of human exploitation.

So are you from Colombia then as well? I am sad that he was killed but after all the bull Uribe's government has done, you get used to it.

Yes Colombia, but you will never get used to it unless you are so full of indiference while human life becomes only a mean to perpetuate terror and misery. remember, violence is not only taking arms..it is also to contemplate with indifference starving children laying on the streets and at the same time the privilged oligarchy displaying all its power and luxury.
