Hey there, Im curious if we have more musicians here. Well I know there are more members on this board who would make music (Im not the only one right?), but do you have your music on a website or anything like that?
Lets hear your stuff!!!
Here is a bit from my band called The Halo Effect, I apologize for the bad sound quality and fuck ups on the bass, this has been recorded in a rehearsal room during a jamsession :) www.myspace.com/thehaloeffect

This is my band, Silent End. We play Commie death/grind.
Its kinda something that you'd need to get into if you don't listen to death metal or grindcore.
But anyway, we are kickass.

I play drums in a band called harvest. Our name comes from the rage line how long, not long, cos what you reap, is what you sow.
Were prity much like rage 2 and our singer wont try anything else so me nd a cople of the other guys might start a grung band cos were into like alice in chains, nirvana, pearl jam and that. That should be cool. I love drums, I have my sticks with me now.

I'm technically in a band, but we only practiced once and it didn't go over too well. But I have recorded stuff on my own. Here are two recordings: the first is a death/black metal style and the second is kind of generic, during which I screw up once but recover.

I've recorded a couple of my own songs, just me and my guitar, but there's a lot of work needs doing to them before I'm willing to let anybody else here them...

I wish I had more time for music, being a rather shoddy guitar player.
If anyone has a band in Melbourne and needs a bad guitarist, I'm your woman! <_<

Itīs pretty random, and almost all songs are in Portuguese.
If there was a way to define us, you could say that we are much worse than Crass(but still better than Britney Spears).

I make music but it's computer based, an art which alot of revlefters appear to shun and look down upon, but still it does take talent I'll put some tunes up at some point if anyone is interested.

Computer based? You mean, instead of going to a studio, you record the songs in your computer?

I play music and am in a 2 person band. Its just me and a drummer. I play guitar and sing (or scream my fucking ass off for a better description). The name is Xelectric and our sound is that of 80s hair/speed metal. We haven't played any shows yet and are still trying to get a somewhat good basement tape down.

I used to do the same thing, but haven't done it in years for lack of time. I finished about 60 or so instrumental industrial songs before I finally called it quits, though. You can still find a couple of them (surprisingly) at http://www.garageband.com/artist/encephalon
A lot of people use simple things like fruity loops, but really it's a lot more complex than that if you actually get into making electronic music. I'd equate it to learning an instrument, in a lot of ways; and fruity loops (and other such programs), while useful, are like toy guitars compared to real ones.

Depending on your opinion about rap music, I'm a musician. Yeah I could write a thesis statement on my own music, but it is very politically fueled so um.......

Bourgeois ska/rock. Sorry...the rest of the band are all Democrats and a Republican. Not my fault. I am (almost assuredly) the most radical person in my town.
We do have a song called "Commie Girl" though, celebrating the difficulty of finding a revolutionary partner. It's cool.

I'm in a punk/hardcore band that was called Figure H8, except that we found out that theres already a band called that, so we're throwing around a few other ones including Breach of Conduct and The Mindless... anyway we're pretty underground right now so we don't have a website, but you'll see some of our lyrics in the lyrics forum.

This music all kicks ass. Now it seems like there's a lot of punks here, how come whenever I get in a debate here with some asshole who thinks punks aren't real revolutionaries, nobody backs me up?
I play electric guitar, me and 2 friends just started a goth band called Poison Faith, I'm the lead guitarist, we don't have a site yet.
What kind of instruments do people have? Mines a black gibson epiphone.

What programs do you use? I recently installed a demo for a music program called Live 4.0 but it kinda sucks and it's hard to use. Can you recommend any programs that I could use? Preferably download instead of buy though.
