Apparently these people hate libraries because you can get a book for free. These losers need bullets.

If you feel like a good laugh, have a look at these "peoples" ideas.

Want to change our country's name from New Zealand to wait for it, wait for it... New Freeland HAHAHAHHA

The only decent thing they want to do is cut MP's salaries by 33.3% which means our PM will "only" get around $65K a year. And to strip MPs of their perks.

You guys must all have parties like this in your country and probably even worse. But man they just crack me up. All their talk about freedom, freedom to exploit and so on...

Anarcho-Capitalists? Their a bit different than the Americam Libertarians, I guess, though in the same direction. The American Libertarians are what they call, "economically conservative, moraly liberal." Basicaly, it would leave the American Libertarians at the liberatrian and right-wing corner on the American political compass. In the same direction as Anarcho-Capitalism, but a bit less radical, I think. Most followers are conseravtives who are tired of the republican parties' religious morality and pro-life crap, not a very large party though, thankfully.

Basically, the biggest wad of ass-holes in America.

The are just like the american libertarians VC, both are full of either minarchists are anarcho-capitalists.

Apparently though, in europe the word libertarian doesn't have the capitalist meaning to it like it has to those groups, and is still associated with libertarian socialists.

"To be sure, although a truly substantial portion of early federal business involved Indian affairs, the Founding Fathers almost certainly assumed that tribes would simply die out under the combined weight of capitalism, Christianity, and military power. But the Framers of the Constitution, who were so seldom wrong on structure, were wrong about Indian tribes. The tribes did not die out, and the modern presidency, Congress, and Supreme Court continued squarely to acknowledge this third source of sovereignty in the United States....

My impression of Libertarians was always that they just sat on the fence politically, like Centrists. All fine and good when there's nothing to complain about, but since there is a lot to complain about these days, I am of the opinion that it's healthier to sit over to the Left of the middle. Sitting in the middle's almost as bad as sitting on the Right these days, just in a different way: It doesn't help anyone.

I pretty much agree with the Libertarians morally. My problem is with their economic beliefs.

Libertarianism is fundamentally opposed to democracy. Stalin and Hitler were undoubtably more democratic than a proponent of libertarianism. Libertarianism is in my opinion the worst political ideology ever created.

But it's pretty difficult to find someone who doesn't sit in the middle or on the right! obviously this site is an exception, but it's really hard (for me at least) to find other socialists. Alot of my friends are sort of socialists, but they don't know alot about it and don't care all that much. I try but so far haven't had any real success in converting them!

I agree with everyone else, anarcho-capis are evil buggers, but at least they are liberal morally, I'd rather have them than a load of rightist fundamental christians or similar!!!!

How are they "liberal" morally??!

They are liberal on virtually nothing! Lets look on their non-economic issues that are embraced by certain board members:
- gay rights: oppose legislation for hate crimes, oppose other special measures for homosexuals
- racial rights: no rights to African Americans, racial policies by bosses are completely free.
- women's rights: again, no special rights to improve the life of females

what are they liberal on? drugs? well in that area they are too "liberal". a derugalted market utterly corrupts. most propose full legalization of all drugs.

The thing you are talking about here, comrades, is called new liberalism which stands for privatization for all the state owned services.

I think as much as possible should be state owned, look at the railways in Britain, they have been a total mess since they were privitised.

Damn right, comrade. Unfortunately, this "progress" has spread to Finland, the last fort of socialdemocracy in Europe.

They arent anarchists as such, they believe in private ownership, not public, a better word to use is anarchro-capitalists, dont get the two confused.

Right on, nz revolution (oh my god, what a bad phrase!!!!). But it's true, there's nothing wrong with anarchists, as long as they don't go in for complete chaos (that's just foolish).

railways is a good topic, in here in NZ (raped and pillaged by the British crown) the govt sold the railways. Which party sold them? The Labour one, a man named (el duce) Prebble, he then left Labour and setup the most right wing party there is to vote for.

Now the NZ govt has bought some of them back for such an unbelieveable price, subsidising capitalism is what some of us over here like to call it.

NATIONALISE EVERYTHING, THEN SOCIALISE THE STATE!!

thanks for the

I think that's about right but how do we get them to do that? Time for a demo I think (at least when Iraq has been sorted out).

Hey there Mentalbunny, Im 18 years of age.

The answer my dear is revolution :)

Class awareness I think is the key. Once you can get through to the majority, and tell them, "we of the working class are being exploited, we can end it now!!! take this rifle here and we will create a state for the working people"

So how old are you?
