So the result's back, and....You're an idiot! ;)
Nahahahahhah - A'Hohohohohohoh!
Okay, 'nuff kiddin'......

First the most important;
The good new's and're bad new's, well, atleast from a leftist-point o'view!
Heck, we even got election-observer's visitor's 'ris time.
The good new's; A "red-green" alliance of party's won! (Two left-parties,
includin' a centrum-party, THE "centrum-party" (green) in fact, a huge social
democrat party "labour party" (red) and a minor one, "socialistic left-party" (red)
However, it's still CAPITALISM, and 'rat's the bad new's, I 'spose. "Capitalism lite"
as RedStar said someone else said!

'Spite all'ro 'ris shit, The largest BURGEROUISE party in Norway, the "Advance Party" ironicly enough, also the largest bunch'o REACTIONARIES, 'tho...which mean's that's the ironic thang :D

Other than that, the two partner's of the largest socialistic party - Labour Party, just like in U.K., the ex-"farmer's" party and SfP is havin' rather low popularity compared to them. The alliance of the Christian's, the Social-Liberal's and Conservatives blame AP for their loss by turning against them, meanwhile they blame them for not accepting their offer to ally, plus only turning to them for support for their politic's.

But it was still a close race between the block's. And our very own Communist-Party "Red Election Alliance", was on the rise, and has risen - due to our new youth's radical choiches, but not enough to get past the "weightscale", as was it for the Coast-Party, but they're relatively new too, 'tho, and the observer's brag about our allegedly honesty and non-cheating of election's despite lack of strong restrictive law's. It was relatively quickly decided (took one day, in full), unalike US's election :P

By the way: The Norwegian Communistic Logo n'shit.

I have a friend in Norway who works on oil platforms; he's an engineer. Loves his work; I suppose he's good at it. Has a bunch of kids, too. Don't know his politics, though. Good guy. Best friends since 3rd grade. But he moved to Norway some years ago.

Then there was the time that he, me and another guy trashed Magic Mountain after it closed.

But I degress...

I hear the REA is old ultra left groups that united together. Among the more important include the old Communist Workers Party and a Maoist sect from the 70's (which thought training for guerrilla warfare in the Norwegian Mountains was necessary?). What other parties are invovled in this alliance?

Good to hear. It might not make any difference, though. I mean, it looks like Shell was the real villain in Rossport. But if Statoil pulls out it'll send a message.

Although I agree with Praxis' point that the Rossport Five should be released and Shell told to feck aff. The withdrawal of Statoil from Ireland isn't feasible as it provides 1200 jobs in the fee state alone.

@olemarxo - northern ireland is a imperial statelet unrecognized by Irish Republicans - 'the six counties' or simply 'the north of Ireland' would be agreeable

BTW - Shell/Statoil were in Rossport Co. Mayo, in the south, not as you mistakenly implied in 'Norn Iron'
