i need a book for my world issues class my teacher said it should focus on the subject of Globalization/how imperialism effects the world/ or something to do with how different political theory’s have changed the world we live in ...(i want to do the last one , something to do with socialism/communism probly.)... And it has to have been published in 2000 or later ;) any help is much needed

By far the best book on this topic is "Empire" by Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri. It's a long read, but you could pull out some sections for discussion. It was published in 2001.
Alternatively, "Hegemony or Survival" by Noam Chomsky is a safe bet. It's more accessible and shorter than "Empire".
