If I was satan, and I wanted to cook"
The minds of a few Christians, I’d construct a book
I’d put in some truthes, then mix in those curves
That give those judgemental folks all of the nerve
To point fingers and toes and stick up their nose
And respond to tough questions with “god only knows”

They’d be on their track like some south going zack
Unable to see reason or change up their tack
They’d miss all the sense in others’ two cents
When posting on boards making sure theirs is spent
On turning away those who might actually listen
To spiritual talk in favour of the lesson

If I was satan and wanted to use
A book to mess with the Christians I choose
I’d throw in some words with a subtle suggestion
On man’s tempted mind, and my certification
Would be saying these words are all godly inspired
Because often with Christians that’s all that’s required.
