It compiles certain stories from other news sources and posts links. It's been really useful at times, not at all at others.


Besides that, try picking up some socialist magazines. They don't have all the news, but the important stuff is usually there. International Socialist Review (ISR) is one I believe can be found at Border's and whatnot. I read a pretty good piece of Afghanistan in Z Magazine recently.
