Before anyone judges me i would like to say with regards to natural disasters ALL should be done to save the people involved ( a concept Bush seems unfamiliar with) i just think that with regards to funding it is only natural disasters that hit MEDC'S (more economically developed countires e.g USA Europe) that are given huge amounts of funding.
Obviously there is live aid but it seems unhumane that as I'm typing this hundreds of people in 3rd world countires are dying from lack of food - of which we take for granted.
i mean, when something like the tsunami happens every1 jumps up to help but it seems purely in the image - to SHOW people that they are taking part. yet everyday people ignore the suffering that 50% of the world experiences.
I think Aid in the 3rd world only benefits capitalism, aid is given to a country in the interests of capitalism e.g MEDC's help LEDC's becayse they can get something out of it such as oil which means the MEDC is robbing the raw materials and exploiting the fact that the LEDC cant process their matrial- the oil is then sold at a great profit.

this could be seen with Iraq, our aid is getting rid of "an evil dictator" but we are going to get oil from it and noone can stop us.

Please post your thoughts and feelings on my thoughts and feelings.

a third of the world live in poverty, and its estimated 2000 people die each hour of starvation. but seriously who cares...AMERICANS ARE DYING!!!but don't get me wrong it is obviously a terrible thing, just allitle too much sympathy, suddenly people act like they haven't had anywhere to give their charity. and its not as if every country in the world has offered to give aid

I think Aid in the 3rd world only benefits capitalism, aid is given to a country in the interests of capitalism
Check out the IMF and World Bank, they lend money as long as the country is its puppet...

the red cross is just as bad they in many cases make people pay for the aid such as food and water.

Natural Disasters are just another form of force....apart from war, which Bush seems in love with. Katrina wiped out the coloureds from Bush, a drain on society even more now they are left with nothing....because, the coloureds never work, they just live on benefits...didnt you know that? thats what the rich americans would like you to believe. But it isnt the case.

No-one can take the Oil away from them because no-one will stand up to them. Politicians do not fear Bush, he is a simple man in power because of his pappa, but they fear the might of America, military etc. Expect to still see American troops in Iraq in ten years time.
