View Full Version : Cold War in the Middle East

A serious Cold War has broken out in the Middle East between Iran and Israel over Iran's nuclear activities.

The Zionist Government in Israel, aiming for a reign of theocracy and imperiasm over the Middle East, has been trading threats with leaders of the Revolutionary Gaurd in Iran.

Al Jazeera put out an article called Who Will Strike First, Iran or Israel? (http://www.aljazeera.com/cgi-bin/review/article_full_story.asp?service_ID=9440)

When Israel forced 9,000 of their settlers from the Gaza Strip, several Zionists attacked the soldiers sent to evacuate them. This violence could break out into a full scale Civil War amoung the Zionists.

The Israeli Government may be a lapdog of the US government, but they are a small country, a thorn in the region, that cannot handle a three-front war. They don't have the strength to fight their own people, the people of Palestine, and the Revolutionary Gaurd all at once. As Uncle Ho said, "If the Tiger does not stop fighting the Elephant, the Elephant will die of exhaustion".

Civil and foreign conflict must and will tear Israel, the world's most oppresive and genocidal state, to pieces. Israel's ass is going to get kicked. The moment of a major victory could finally be near, the moment when the Zionists will be driven into the sea by their own greed.

driven into the sea

Whenever I see this phrase, I get nervous. I think it implies no reduction of oppression, but a mere reversal of roles.

Anne Frank's "Cycle of Injustice".

The book that I was thinking of is the Quran. The translation I read used the same phrase. So I kind of see it as a sign of support for Islamic theocracy.

Do you mean 'zionists' or just the average Israeli. Because wishing ill on an entire nation is idiotic and just fucking stupid.

There is also a very small risk of an actual 'civil war'. There will probably be more terrorist attacks by far-right Jewish extremists, but no civil war. Also, the countries are separated by Syria, Jordan and Iraq. If it came to an air war, Israel would easily win, if it came to a nuclear war, Israel would still win. The fighting against the terrorists would easily be controlled by Israel.

Besides, this saber rattling has been going on for months, and the settlers all agree that fighting against the army is taking resistence too far. Iran has no chance of victory.

I support the Palestinians who are fighting for freedom. Whether or not they are Islamic makes not difference to me, as long as they do not kill innocent people.

Driving the Zionists "into the sea" is a metaphor. It means that the Intifada will not end just because some Palestinians are free while others live behind the fences of genocide. The Palestinian people must and will take back all their land, from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean. The Israeli border must be driven into to the sea!

This metaphor in no way means that people should be killed or oppressed because they are Jewish or of the Semitic race. However, I wouldn't be surprised if some Islamic extremists did use it that way.

When I say Zionists, I mean Zionists. These are the people that believe half of the Middle East was given to them by God, and should be for Jews only. Zionists can in no way represent the progressive majority of the Jewish people.

I agree.

Firstly, you are assuming Israel will have an advantage because it's the lapdog of the US. What if Iran was supported and supplied by other world powers? A war between Israel and Iran could become a proxy way between the US and it's rivals, China and Russia.

Secondly, Israel would not be crazy enough to launch nukes against another nuclear-armed nation.

However many translations of the Koran phrase things in a way to make Islam look bad. Who did the translation, out of interest?

Israel is mixed with Arabs, Arab-Jews and Jews. Dropping a nuke on Israel would also kill thousund of Arabs instantly. Not to mention the radiation which would most likely spread to the West-bank and Gaza.

In that sense, Isreal's position is much more convenient than Iran's. Also, The US would definately defend Israel's decision of nuking Iran, regarding the UN.
