Halliburton hired for storm cleanup
The Navy has hired Houston-based Halliburton Co. to restore electric power, repair roofs and remove debris at three naval facilities in Mississippi damaged by Hurricane Katrina.

Halliburton subsidiary KBR will also perform damage assessments at other naval installations in New Orleans as soon as it is safe to do so.

KBR was assigned the work under a "construction capabilities" contract awarded in 2004 after a competitive bidding process. The company is not involved in the Army Corps of Engineers' effort to repair New Orleans' levees.

And now the media will jump all over this and make Mother Teresas out of the corporations, thus reconfirming their position. Wait it already has.

Eh, typical crap.

True true.

Americans don't like the rising of gas prices either.

I live in Florida, the hanging chad state and we were supposebly for him and his twit brother is our governor. No ones taking too kindly to these rising gas-prices, nor speaking fondly of the Bush brothers.

Its sad, both guys don't even seem like leaders, but more like nervous elementary school vice-principals.

" Yyyou sit down! Every evvvveryone EVERYONE QUIET! Now that I have your atten...NO SIT DOWN, HEY HEY HEY!!! NOOOO!"

Speaking of rising gas prices, the gas stations around here [Panama City, FL] have already used the hurricane as an excuse to price gouge. One of the stations in town which is usually the cheepest now has regular unleaded at $3.12 a gallon. That's up from $2.57 a gallon last week, last week! What's worse is that there is absolutely no oil shortage as of yet. There might yet be, but not much of one, as only one oil rig was actually destroyed and only four others damaged. Not only that, but there's still a whole shit ton of crude that's still being processed into petroleum and isn't ready to ship out yet. Fucking money hungry bastards.

He has come back to continue posting because he is fed up with "lazy leftists" and he has also started PRO and hopes to get some support, so people will actually do something.
