Consider entomaphogy... the practice of eating bugs. Any wild herbivore invariably consumes insects in the process of eating plants. Insects like plants too and some live out their entire lives, or some part of it, on plant/s. Cows and chickens eating in the pastures consume grasshoppers, they like them.
Insects make up 60% of the earth's biomass. Fucking shit! If we all ate insects, we wouldn't have to eat as many animals and there would be a balance between species. We could increase the carrying capacity of our species as well as all others without comprising our vitamins, fats, carbs, proteins.
