The first of our Sydney eyewitness reportbacks by some of the 60 young Australians who have just returned from the first ever Australia-Venezuela Solidarity Brigade will be held at the Resistance Centre, 23 Abercrombie St, Chippendale this Saturday, September 3, starting from 2pm.

Afterwards, Nelson Davila, the new Venezuelan Consul to Australia, will be speaking (from about 6pm).

Davila will give a toast to the Venezuelan Bolivarian revolution, and will answer questions. Dinner and drinks will also be available. Entry will be $8/$6(conc).

Hey, the CBC last month had a special on Workers reclaiming closed factories in Venezuela. It was an awesome documentry...a must if anyone wants to be empowered. Hey, if they can do it...then we can do it here too!
