People around the globe will always live like animals unless they raise their standard of living.

Globalisation will help that.

Hey, I'm all for communism. I wish communism would truly take hold in some south american country or even if Castro died, the communists could try true communism in Cuba maybe.

I'd really like to see it happen. I think it would be very entertaining.

It all depends who you are talking about when you say "good for".
I would bet the author was referring to the rich, upper class, businesses, which will benefit from the global exploitation of the poor working class. If this is the case, then yes, globalization is good for them.
But for the majority of populations, globalization only destroys native cultures, polarizes the class population, undermines native industry and ships the profits abroad.

I agree with AugustWest on this one. You should go about explaining how wonderful globalization is and then smack em' hard when you point out WHO it is good for. Is this a business class you are taking? A lot of the "professors" who teach any business related course tend to be blood sucking capitalist.

Dpeends what kind of globilizaiton it is. IF we see a global usage of socialism then it's good.

But the current state of affaiarns is sorry. GLobilizaiton is just a mechinism for giant corporatios to frther ravage and exploit third world workers. Only good for the beugoirse.

Well i'm against globalization as you currently know it and find it inspiring when you see actsof resistance like the Bolivian strike on water privatization. However as communists we are for the destruction of needless borders

When is your talk, there are plenty of good books to read on the subject. Although maybe not the best even the dated no-logo is a good start, and gives enough information for an impressive response.

The truth is..that corporate globalization means economic growth for only very few, while the majority suffer the globalization of misery.
The U.S uses globalization to cheat poor countries out of millions.
