I realize that this has a very slim chance of happening but I might as well try. I sent this e-mail to the political publisher of the cuban communist party. (only e-mail I could find)

Dear comrade,

There is an American based website called revolutionaryleft.com. It is used as a think tank for young communists (both anarchist and socialist) and a message board for announcing protests against capitalism and imperialism. (a very effective one too, we have nearly 5000 members) Unfortunatly to pay for this we are forced to host advertisements for companies that exploit the heroic images of Che and Lenin as well as others. Please help pay for the website. I am not sure what it costs as I did not start it. I can find out from the sites founder if this would financial aid would be possible. This would be a large moral victory for a very small price for a prominent socialist government like that of Cuba's.

Thank you ( I apologize that this letter is not in Spainish)

You want the Cuban government to pay for a website? Thats absurd. With all that is facing the Cuban people, because of the American Imperialist attacks and embargos, the last thing they need to be financing is a web-site, that for all they know could be a cover for US covert operations.

Che is heroic, however there is nothing heoric about Lenin.

thats an opinion, and castro describes himself as marxist-leninist.

given that aleidia march (che's daughter) just started a campaign to stop the exploitation of ches image its isn't absurd. And this can't cost more than 100 a month, nambia could pay that for craps sake.

I get a bunch of ads for red advantage guard

Bad idea. They would only stick money in it if there is something for them to gain. So either we would have to conform our political ideas to them or miss out the money. I would rather miss out the money.
