What actions are being taken to make this Communist dream come true and how can a dedicated Comrade like myself help build the stepping stones to Freedom? What course of action can I take? Please someone in the know point me in the direction, I've got the motivation, ability, training, and dream. I need friends, loyal
friends. Rise ye Mighty People.

Join one of the revolutionary groups in your country. There's a list of most of them here:

Welcome comrade, and might I say its brilliant to see such an eager individual.
The best thing you can do is get in touch with local groups that you agree with, that way you can campaign! go to protests and more!

Another good tip: spread the idea to your friends.
I have converted over 10 friends to become either more Left or Anarchists or Communists.
It will start snowballing as they do the same to their friends.
In my school, because of what I started, a slight majority are at least anti-capitalism. And I have a class of several hundred, and my high school has three classes (sophomores, juniors, seniors).
That does a LOT.

Wow, that's quite a feat, Clarksist.
I wish I would have been a bit more outspoken while I was in school. I mean, I knew what I believed, but I was still working out my grounds for believing the way I did.
I did, though, give a speech in one of my classes about why collectivism works better than capitalism. Quite a few people laughed when I stated: 'Property is theft!' Only two or three actually approached me about it, but they didn't seem to interested in my beliefs.
*shrug*
Cheers to you guys, though. Topple the modern education system!

My experiences have been rather similar to those of the RedMenace, unfortunately. I know of no other communists at my school, and sadly a majority, I think, are conservatives. I hope to have better luck next year at college.
Oh, and Clarksist, have you taken econ, or has anyone whom you've recruited? If you can keep them anti-capitalist through econ class, that is quite a feat. Econ teaches lies, for the most part, about communism and socialism, and it makes free enterprise look like heaven on earth. It's basically a propaganda and/or training course (training students to become obedient workers).

build an affinity group and work from there.
its great that you recognise that you need people power to get something going
start small, because even accomplishing small feats is really very empowering and inspires you to do more. check out the practice/diy forum because there are some great ideas there for actions.

Converting others and going to political sites such as www.moveon.org (http://www.moveon.org/) that allow you to sign petitions to the government helps.
