Although the the above list is insanley large compared to mine my favorites are
Gigi D'agostino
DJ Mystic\k
Almighty Mix (series of remixes)
DJ Irene
Captain Jack
Daft Punk
Darude
Prodigy
Eifel 65
Gunther
Kernkraft 400
Paul Oakenfold
DJ Tiesto
Saint Isaiah
And any of those insanley long mixes that you never realy know who did them but they're still full of mind boggling good trance so you tell yourself 'I'll cut these into individual tracks one day' but three months later you're still listening to the one long track and realize, '...wow I never cut these.' ; those are always my favorite.

Probably lots of the gabber stuff, Rotterdam terror corps, Dj Paul, etc...always funny to look back at that stuff.

What about Hellfish?

Uhm what about artists who have mixed it with rock, like the digital hardcore stuff: Punish Yourself, Atari Teenage Riot, Ambassador 21...most of the digital hardcore stuff I know is pretty leftist!

Mujer Libre

Hmm, how about some Crystal Method?

Or if you feel like chilled out trip-hop some Tricky or Massive Attack.

fernando

Hmm that American stuff never seemed like real techno to me personally...but that is just personal taste, I like the music though

Have you heard Alec Empire's solo shit? It's a cut above ATR, I think.

fernando
22nd September 2005, 20:52
Depends which record...I mean the first cd of Intelligence & Sacrifice is very metal while the second one of more noise. Futurist is more punk in my opinion. Alec Empire stays with the noise/techno/industrial/punk/metal/whatever thing he sort of did with Atari Teenage Riot, but has "grown", hence its different (duh...), perhaps also due to the fact that in his solo work there isnt any rap stuff of Carl Crack (may he rest in peace)
