American Troops Can't Help But Rape Foreign Girls

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan called on the U.S. military on Wednesday to crack down on crimes by servicemen, a day after police issued an arrest warrant for a U.S. Marine for attempted rape on Okinawa, home to most of the U.S. forces in Japan.



The incident may re-ignite resentment of U.S. forces on the tropical island chain, located some 1,000 miles southwest of Tokyo, as well as sparking renewed calls to revise a key treaty governing U.S. military personnel in Japan.


Anti-American sentiment is also on the rise in neighboring South Korea (news - web sites) after a road accident in which a U.S. Army vehicle crushed two schoolgirls to death, prompting calls to revise a similar treaty there.


Tokyo has formally requested that Major Michael J. Brown, 39, be handed over to the Japanese authorities in connection with the incident. The U.S. authorities hope to reach a decision as soon as possible, the Foreign Ministry said.

Once again, Americans are not allowed to be held for their crimes. And it they do, only after much protest and insistence. The true nature of America's military shows through again and again...

A friend of mine was in Japan when a scumbag soldier or pilot can't remember exactly raped a girl.

And all that happened was he got sent home...

Would you be suprised if the U.S. soldier got off clean? I wouldn't. It is a sad event that happens too often. I doubt Japan will persue this for very long.

I remember having read about similar cases, one one and a half years ago, and two cases about 4 (?) years ago, back then resulting in violent protests, and several more in the past. Each time this happens I hear the same old arguments about "each army having a few 'bad apples'". Strange, the troops stationed on okinawa seem to consist mainly of bad apples. I wonder why this is the case?
And why are the Okinawans still so quiet? Two thirds of what used to be their country are occupied by the US military.

happened in Kosovo, except the same soldier had allready raped 2 sisters in Haiti before he raped and murdered the girl in Kosovo, he even gave advice to other soldiers about how to get away with it,

America has a new law wich says that americans cant stand as the accused in the internation court in the hague. theu said that if they still arrest an american, america gives himself the right to invade holland.

And I am kind a hoping that cuz then america will have great international problems and cuz of that national problems and then it will fall apart. I hope. This situation is only possible if the european union supports holland in that kind of a situation.

What I want to know is how many rapes and murders have been swept under the rug in countries that "don't matter." Maybe we only hear about it because it's Japan, not exactly a developing nation.

As am I but, do you think the E.U. will stand firm against the U.S. or do you think they will back away?

The future of International Law relies on this then. If America is allowed to do as it pleases the United Nations is ruled inneffective. And Capitalism will expose it's own lies. Although it is very very sad and unfortunate, it will lead way to better things. Like, possibly, a Worldwide Revolution against Capitalism and lies.

Another case of this is that the US ignored a World Court ruling that declared them responsible for so much recompinsation to the Venezulain people, and declared them a terrorist nation. This was a few years ago.

This really pisses me off, the US is supposed to be the best of the best, not the most corrupt of the corrupt. This is truly sickening!
