Has anyone heard of the Frankfurt School? Here's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankfurt_School) a wikipedia article on it. I found it while looking through lyrics (http://www.revolutionaryleft.com/index.php?showtopic=39531). What do you guys think?

The works of those in the Franfurt School are highly relevent today. They overcame much of the crap of orthodox Marxists and developed a critique of consumerism, authoritarianism etc. which has become more and more true to this day.

My favourites are;

Adorno
Marcuse
and Fromm

But particularly Erich Fromm, his writings "The Sane Society", "Fear of Freedom" and so on, take psychoanalysis to civilisation. Some of his stuff is damn near anarchist though I doubt he ever associated himself with it.
