reasons:

-it takes 10 to20 times the amount ofland to create a meat diet as to a vegitarian diet

-meat is uncleanimmagine eating a friends arm. yuck

-meat carries disease

- meat=cruelty

there are many more reasons.....

I think it's ridiculous. I am in favour of eating meat. I am in favour of shooting cows in the head.

I'm pretty Neutral. If people in Thailand are dying, I could give a shit about a different species. Their can be no animal liberation until their is universal human liberation. Or as Malcolm X said "Their can be no human unity, until their is Black unity."

i've been thinking about trying vegetarian diet. not to diet. just because i think its pretty gross, eating meat and all. looking at an animal out in the pasture, and just the thought of eating it. it bothers me. although i eat it everyday

I am a vegitarian, and almost a vegan(i.e. i eat cheese once in a while). I find it to be easy, and it doesn't take away from the "human revolution", unless you only concentrate on animal liberation. Animal liberation and the revolution can go hand in hand.

So how is the animal liberation supposed to work?
Are you going to take down all the fences and pens on the farms? Are you going to release all the cows, chickens, horses, pigs, sheep, and goats into the wild? It would be an environmental catastrophe. Anyway, the balance of nature would just end up killing most of them off, once they run out of food to eat.
I'm all for animal rights, and I believe the conditions that exist on the animal farms and slaughter houses are horrible, but no matter how much it sucks, quick radical change will end up causing more harm than good., the system needs to be adjusted steadily.
I admire vegans and vegies, I would be one too if I didn't like meat so much; lets face it I'm naturally an omnivore and so are all humans.
And what about other carnivorous or omnivorous animals besides us? Are you going to starve all the lions, tigers, and bears? If all the meating eating animals were gone, the vegetarian animals would over-populate, causing mass disease and starvation among their ranks, which would be alot more painful than losing a couple stragglers to a hungry predator.
Nature has balance, we kinda fuck things up though.

Eating meat is part of humanity. This crap about how everyone should be vegetarian is foolish. For health, maybe, for the health of the Animal, no. Dairy cows, and meat cows are raised to be killed, they lead reasonalble lives, better than that of some starving child in Ethiopia. The cruelty should be stoped, but not meat-eating.

Once humans are properly taken care of, then we could concentrate on cows, muels, buffalo's, etc.

I think cows should be shot. I enjoy the thought of it. Cows are here to be eaten. Apart from the unnesseccary cruelty, such as battery hens endure, I think meat eating is a fun event for all the family.

a question I once heard "human liberation" or "human animation"?

Killing cows sounds great. Sometimes when I'm out on the farm I think how stupid they are running away when you clap your hands and nonsense like that. ANd they sometimes chased my dog which was fuckin funny.

Killing goats is great too, cos when they've been shot they actually sound like a person in agony but its a stupid goat. One sounded like it was saying "DYING!!!" which made me laugh, plus I shot one and it then jumped off a cliff, again more laughs

peace.

How can you kill plants to feed yourself? How selfish...

I have nothing against vegetarians but I think that eating meat can be ok as long as animals are killed in decent conditions . But this is not the way it happens actually.

I don't understand people who say"why should we care about animals or environment while people in some countries are dying?".
I think we can help poor people and protect nature or animals at the same time.
This is not contradictory things.
