Here is what I am planning on making over the course of the next several weeks/months if I can find the supplies (when I am not in school).

Plastic Jumping Flea- I am going to try and make a bass version.

Membrane Horn-If I make it thick enough it will also be a decent club.

The rest either seem above my ability, or beyond anything I could play.

If you find more sites I would enjoy making more music.

I made two bodies for the whistle one in the key of D which is appallingly shite, although I think I can fix it, and one in the key of C which actually sounds really good. You can get around two octaves out of it although the higher notes are hard to play and sustain.
If you have the skills and the means to make it I would reccommend trying to make it although I suggest you try these instructions: http://home.online.no/~hgrimsla/celtic/makewhis.htm
As I found that version easier to make.

do-it-yourself drums are always fun but never beat a real djembe. I found some on the street once for only $20. Very poor quality.

What would you use for the skin of the drum, it would be a cool little addition to my drum kit :P . Accually what would you use for the whole thing.

Make your own African Drum (http://djembelfaq.drums.org/v8b.htm)
You might have trouble finding a gourd

That it would. Nothing shows up via Google, however.
