Shit, this movie is crazy.

I know it's a bit older, but I had never heard of it until just the other day. I watched it, and stayed up till 6 in the morning talking to a friend about it.

Talk about a mindfuck.

It's hard to say what it's about, but it's basically a guy living through a constant dreaming, running into different people and talking about philosophy. You just have to watch it, it's crazy.

It's just philosophy light bullshit in so much as 'are we always dreaming; what is reality' type of thing. It's the same easily deafeatable idea dragged out for a long time with some cool animation. UIltimately I just call it a pile of wank that takes itself too seriously though.

I thought it was pretty cool. I remember there was a Sealab episode called "Waking Quinn". Hillarious shit.

i watched this film when it first came out...2001 i think... and loved it mainly for the animation, the script was alright but much too pretentious

i could happily watch it if it was a series of short films or something but 2 hours of it gets annoying

Eh, I give it more credit than that. To be sure, its subject matter is pretty rudimentary to anyone relatively well versed in philosophy. It's a great introduction for people who haven't done much reading in the area, though.
