It's a common volcanic mineral... sort of a clay-like ashen dust. Real cheap on the market...
It was discovered to have an interesting property. It will stop bleeding instantly.
Got a friend who's been shot up by the cops? Sprinkle a little, he'll stop bleeding. (first found use in the second gulf war, ironically... has had an amazing lifesaving rate. I figure any radical should carry a few ounces at least in their backpack).

zeolites are a type of common crystal.....the first thing you should know about them is that they are a very effective desiccants which is the reason it stops bleeding... ......dont eat it or you get dehidrated.... they are non toxic so they wont poison you.....but youl get thirsty.........they actually are fed to mass produced animals to help keep their food from growing bacteria while sitting out and keep them healthy, but in small amounts .....one form of zoelite is those things they place in your shoes in those little packets ( im not a scientist so i dont know if these ones are safe...) ......... there are hundreds of types of zeolites and they vary from one to another.......the NO (nitric oxide < not no2 nitrous oxide nos > ) rich zeolites are used medically for wounds that heal slowly as they release the gas slowly into the would which is known to help the healing process........
....but your best bet is to rather buy a blood clotter, like "QUICK CLOT" ....it includes the zeolite ......and your supposed to remove as much water from around the wound first as it will then cause a thermal reaction creating a discomforting heat.........so read the directions when you buy a quick clot and there are chances of them failing so dont depend on them..... try not to get shot first and and your survival rate is 100% get shot and survival rate drops dramatically.....apply a clotter and the percentage will go up.....but its not at 100%....
best bet tho because the quick clotters are so expensive....just give your medical first aid buddy 5 bucks when ya see him incase your the one shot, hes putting 50 dollars on your wound....yeah..... i carry the first aid kit...........

oh found out while talking to a chemist.....the shoe crystals are actually a silicon based compound made because there cheaper...... so deffinity is not the same type of desiccants ....
