Saline solution, and salt. The ions in the salt will saturate and deactivate the charcoal. just put the mix in a reverse bong or somthing like that, and blow it at the cops and walla they will taste there own gas.

Now if I were to leave this solution in a jug in my car (extreme heat), would it still work? (Assuming I refilled it and changed it out once every two weeks or so).

I am wondering this because I think it would be useful to have an empty water jug full of this and maybe a PVC Pipe to blow it out of. I could take a mouthfull of the solution, and blow it out the tube.

Dont test it, I was joking. A real gas mask has far better uses than testing my ideas with the saline solution and salt.

How effective would water balloons full of the stuff be? Would a couple drops landing on the filter be enough, or would you need to hit them dead-on in the face?

If a few drops are all it takes, a 3-person slingshot team (two to hold the elastic bands, one to pull back the pouch) with a supply of saltwater balloons could act as artillery.

....have we all forgotton about or childhood fondness for water pistols and "super soakers" with 300 numbers following the word.....
......at a dollar store you can buy water guns of all colors and sizes.....
one thing i know about water solutions like this tho are that they will crust up as it evaporates around the edges of your container if its not sealed tight......so dont store them in the guns for a long time cuz they look like a tight seal but arnt......

I vaguely remember about hearing in WWII(i think) something about gas masks being submerged in saltwater at d-day and malfunctioning later...I think....btw I stole a ventilator from *lowes, will that block out tear gas or anything else at protests?

it will, but not very long... what you want is an army issue canister... you can pick them up at army surplus stores.

yes it is a filter with a very high charcol content.

you should try and put more water than salt, so it can travel farther, and get into there canisters.

I am working on modifying the PVC Pipe instrument so the cap will screw off and help project the liquid in an arc.

its kinda hard to use a super soaker in a protest, unless you get the big one and they will stop you at a major protest.

Well you will look like an idiot wandering around with a super soaker. An instrument is multi-purpose, already made for what I will need, and is capable of creating more of a spray than the super-soaker line.

I bet a cop would get away with shooting you for pointing a super soaker at them. It wouldn't be justified, but I bet they'd get a way with it. Just something to think about. When you point something at a cop the whole situation changes.

no they would shoot you with live rounds... they dont ussually carry them to protests in america. you would get tagged with rubber bullets.
