I think that its worht noting, this wouldnt be a military victory, it would just be that the U$ had taken too many casualties and decided to leave. As in vietnam, the tet offensive was militarily disastorus for the Viet Cong.

Yeah I understand that. There is a story about an Amerikan officer who returned to Vietnam some years after the war and met some of his adversaries. As said before sounds a little too close to the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, even though the US victory then was completely irrelevant, the US isn't just gonna get up and walk away from a country they invaded. In Vietnam they were just helping the ARVN fight the NVA, and because of the hatred of the war at home they decided to leave. I doubt thats going to happen here. However, correct me if i'm wrong, i'm open to suggestions....

We must do the same. Unfortunately the ultra-lefts used the war movement as a tap demanding protest after protest, but we should organise in the unions and labour movement and student movement to organise this brutal war, and bring back the troops and end this imperialist war.

Not only should we organise to end this war, but have political meetings on why this war started, ie capitalism, and showing that to be anti-war, in reality means being anti-capitalist, hence using this war to strengthen the anti-capitalist movement here.

This 'offensive' that is planned (the US doesn't 'know' of it, they are just not stupid - its obviously going to happen) will do nothing to stop the US.
Killing innocent workers isn't going to really bother the Pentagon.

As long as it wasn't hurting their profits, it was good. But Saddam got greedy and "got off the boat" so to speak, turning on his masters. When he attacked Kuwait, he attacked Western capitalist profits.
