How is Guantanamo Bay under American Control and why does Cuba allow America to use it?

because the US has nukes... and would like any excuse to go to war with Cuba. CUba taking GB could be interpreted as an act of agression.

The situation between U.S and Cuba is:

In 1901 Cuba was occupied by U.S forces. In those days the U.S forced Cubans to write a Constitution protecting U.S interests (as in Irak today).
Two important things were included:
1. The Platt Amendment by which the U.S had the right to intervene in Cuban internal and external affairs any time considered appropriate.
2. Cuba was forced to rent in perpetuity a part of its territory: Guantánamo Bay.
After the triumph of the revolution (1959) a new Constitution was written and Cuba ended the rent of Guantánamo, but as they usually do, U.S didn´t respect the decisions of a sovereign country and remainded there until today as occupation forces.
