FACTS

The Beast is currently in pre-production.

The cast and crew are legally sworn to secrecy.

The theory that Jesus Christ never existed, while largely unknown to most lay Christians, is gaining credibility among scholars. Historians do not consider the Gospels to be historically accurate accounts. The authors of the Gospels, writing 40 to 90 years after the supposed life of Christ, never intended for their works to be read as biographies. There are no credible non-Christian references to Christ during the period in which he is said to have lived.

BEHIND THE MOVIE

The Beast is directed by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Brian Flemming. Flemming's work has been called "a parallel universe" by the BBC, "jaggedly imaginative" by the New York Times, and "immensely satisfying" by USA Today. Flemming won the New York Times Claiborne Pell Award for Original Vision for his groundbreaking feature film Nothing So Strange, which was released theatrically in 2003 and is currently distributed on DVD in more than 200 countries.

I really want to see The God Who Wasn't There.

Everyone seems to be pounded with the fact that there is historical evidence and written documents that state that Jesus Christ was real.

Under their assumptions, that's saying Frodo Baggins is real too. I mean there are three books about him.

Even if he was real, these people who take the bible as evidence don't seem to realize that he might not have been the divine miracle worker he's said to be.

Haha! I am now a Frodoist.

I'd quite like to see that movie actually.

Years ago, I made a religion that were making fun of this irrationality, the santanists, having rituals such as sacrificing beer to Santa the 24th December, and using the sentence "May Santa give you many hard presents" to say goodbye.

Hey, loads of people buy the stories about some guy walking on the water and raise the dead!

Oddly enough, I stopped being a religious person when I found out Santa wasn't real. I just thought about it like this:

SANTA: always watching you, you can't see him, rewards you if your good, punishes you with coal if your bad.

GOD: always watching you, you can't see him, rewards you if your good, punishes you by sending you to a pit of burning coals if your bad.

Hmm...
