They have not reached the extreme of publicly announcing genocide, or of organizing extermination camps, but the similarities are vividly apparent.
One must also look at the political times of each era. Germany enjoyed a rather long period of isolation from external news corps, but the word still got out. Now with Israel, the news is everywhere, no matter how much the US suppresses it at home. You still here of bombings, armed movements invading villages, etc...

It's all very sad. Comparing the Israli treatment of Arabs and the Nazi treatment of the Jewish people is an extreme comparison. But there are some similarities which should not be overlooked.
