How many drummers do we have here?

and what kind of music do you play, and listen to?

I am going to start drumming, but I think I might actually change my mind and play piano and organ because playing drums does you no good unless you are going to join a band.

It's fun once you get good at it, but I guess it was pretty frustrating in the beginning when I could only play really easy songs.

I've been drummin for 5 or 6 years now. I can play just about anything my particular favs are punk and swing, matchin my choice in music. Did the whole concert band too so I am a concert percussionist as well. Did marching band as well, that drummin is some fun stuff right there. I don't think there is much else like the comradary of being a part of the drumline, I really enjoyed the musical and social aspect fo that.

swing and even concert band can be cool, but i'm just tired of punk. I admit i used to play it sometimes but its just all the same to me now. Almost every song has the same beat. I've never played in a marching band, but I wish I could.

Yep, I drum. I've been going since last October, and I'd say I was above average. I just play normal rock style, and also swing. I'd love to learn jazz, but I've only got a single bass drum, and two are ideal, really.

I play drums for my band , The Revolucions. Been playing for about 5 or 6 years, i would say its skilled drumming i play. Rock music, pop music.
