In many discussions I've heard the term "neo" before some certain beliefs. "Neoliberal," "Neoconservative," and "NeoNazi" are just a few.

Does it mean anything special?

A 'neoliberal' is an ultra-capitalist. This label usually describes the most economically right wing thinkers (think of Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman). 'Neoconservative' is one who is fond of the idea of an American empire. They believe in fighting preemptive wars, such as the one being fought in Iraq. Neocons came about during the so-called 'Reagan revolution' in the US. Neonazis are simply 'new Nazis', I think.

Oddly enough, neoliberals are often at odds with generally 'liberal' people in the US, and neoconservatives are often at odds with generally conservative people.
