I was amazed to see the North Korean infastructure.
The system of powerlines....and the condition of their roads.
for a poor country they sure maintain their roads pretty well.

I don't think the North Koreans can afford many cars, so the road system only experiences light traffic especially in the country. At least that's my take on things.

the infracstructure is brilliant- but why? its only for the army- the main road between pyongyang and seoul (the reunification highway) is ridiculously empty.
no one has cars either- only top government officials. however, the only adverts in pyongyang are 5/6 huyndai adverts!

Did I say I support Ki Jong Il?
I alkways used to think 2 people in this world deserved a bullet, that being Yassir Arafat and Kim Jong Il.
Kim Il Sung, while an evil bastard, at least was a competant ruler. Kim Jong Il has let his country go to shit.
