I'm trying to compile a list of companies that use slave labor or practice other unlawful or unethical ways of increasing their profit.
(i'm reading this and it doesn't seem to make sense but hopefully you'll get what i'm trying to say. it might makes sense... hm...)

Here's a few great sites:

BadCorp (http://www.badcorp.org/main.cfm)
CorpWatch (http://www.corpwatch.org/)
Responsible Shopper (http://www.responsibleshopper.org/)

So who's especially bad, in other words, on the sh!tlist (http://www.badcorp.org/shitlist.cfm)?

Here's a few:

Philip Morris (http://www.badcorp.org/company.cfm?caID=8723000)
ExxonMobil (http://www.badcorp.org/company.cfm?caID=7321000)
Nike (http://www.badcorp.org/company.cfm?caID=8504000)
McDonald's (http://www.badcorp.org/company.cfm?caID=8252000)
GAP (http://www.badcorp.org/company.cfm?caID=7504000)

I don't know about now, but Samsung, Vodafone, BMW, Mercedes and a whole host of other companies used slave labour from concentration camps in Nazi Germany.

The comanies use sweatshop labour, andthere plenty of listsavailable, but "slave labour" implies that no money at all is awarded and that there are no "employees" just slaves. If anyone has details on this, other than those sold into domestic servitude, I would be very interested.

Almost all companies now, that don't specialise in non-sweatshop production use sweatshop labour at some point along the line. One of the easiest ways to tell is to look where the good comes from (although this isn't fool proof and companies can get around this).

I was wondering about Puma, because a lot of people from different countries wear the shoes (mostly South Americans that I've seen) :che:

Pretty much anyone involved with diamonds and other expensive gems will end up owning and selling stones handled by slaves.

All the so called "ethical" diamond companies combined make a small fraction of the De Beers cartel's buisness.
