Hey everyone.
My names Jeff, Eastern Michigan resident. I was reffered to this site by a friend not too long ago. I'm 16 right now, I ran into the Communism ideals about 2 years ago when I was just kinda' being a rebel by saying I liked Stalin and that, then about a year later I really started researching more on Karl Marx, bought me a copy of The Communist Manifesto and had started to realize the true potential of Communism. Hope to talk to you all in the future.
Thanks

I started out the same way as you! It all started with studying Che. Then I read the Communist Manifesto, some Chairman Mao, who I don't care for, and It kinda took off from there. Welcome!

Welcome to the Forums! I'm new myself, and also of the same geographic region :D
I started when i was in 6th grade, when playing red alert I and seeing stalin, so I researched the USSR, and brought myself to Marx... I was actually supposed to go to Northern Michigan this weekend, but the trip was called off.. Pity I was going to reread some Das Kapital on the way and once there.
If you are a bit newerish to Marxism; a great, great, great website to visit is www.marxists.org

Welcome.
Would you say you are a Stalinist or some other form of Marxism-Leninism?

I would definately call myself a Marxist. In my opinion Mr. Marx had the best ideas in terms of creating a perfect nation, or as close to one as you can get.
Pity I was going to reread some Das Kapital on the way and once there.
Actually, I'm going to some place called Kingston (Upper part of the LP) in a few days, and I just stopped by my local Barnes & Nobles (Got to love B&N) and picked up Das Kapital. I'm going to crack open that bad boy on the way there for sure.
Thanks for the great welcomes everyone. It's deeply appreciated.
