Hello, I want to introduce myself to the board. I am new to RevLeft, and think that posting here will be fun. I am a college student from the beautiful state of Oregon, and am studying History and Political Science.

Whereas I am a red blooded American and a Roman Catholic, I am not necessarily a Capitalist. I basically respect power, like Darth Sidius in Star Wars: Episode III, or like Caesar Augustus in RL (real life). Whether the Church is all powerful, the US is all powerful, or the worker is all powerful, I just respect and appreciate power. One day, I want to ressurect the Roman Empire and make myself the Emperor.

Anyway, I look forward to many good discussions here!

What's the point? It might be great but all empires fall and in the process of becoming powerful they exploit people everywhere they go.
