You could marry a Canadian chick in Canada under Budhism because,in that religion you can marry at any age. now that you have the Canadian Citizenship you can travel to Cuba.

I was thinking that too, but let's say if you wanted to obtain some cigars or anything from Cuba, you still couldn't fly to that other country and bring the item(s) to America :che:

If the US government found out that you went to cuba you would be charged and have to go to court. I think maybe the official law is that you can't spend any of your money in cuba.
You can travel to Cuba anytime you wish, Cuba certainly doesn't care.
The risk is if your caught by American authorities on the way back. The fine for traveling to Cuba is typically between 3,000$ and 7,000$. If you do it right, though, you're unlikely to get caught, most people aren't.

That's trickier and much more illegal. If your caught "smuggling" cigars from Cuba, you'll probably do jail time.

Theoretically, but practically it means that to get a treasury liscense to visit Cuba you must be able to document before hand that every possible expense has been paid for by a local organization.

Wait, it is illegal to even travel there? Jesus, I didn't know it was that bad. That's not even funny, restricting our right to travel to certain places.

And I forgot to add that there are flights from Miami to la habana, and family members are allowed something like 1 visit every 3 years or some shit like that.
Screw the embargo, screw the govenment.

So if you moved out of America and lived in Europe, you could go visit Cuba, but after that you can't move from Europe back to America because of a past visit to Cuba. Now I'm not saying move to Europe so you can legally go to Cuba and then plan to move back to America, but this is one of those... what ifs? And does anyone know the story behind Audioslave performing a concert in Cuba and then coming back to America AND releasing a DVD of the concert to be sold in America? :che:

We've had this thread somewhere before. . .
You need to fly to a neutral country where you can get a passport, and from there fly to Cuba under the new passport (I'm not sure if Grenada would work, but any American citizen can get a Grenada passport)
From Cuba fly back to a neutral country with the 2nd passport, and then fly back home with the American passport.
I think I maybe left something out, but that's the general idea.
This way as far as the U.S. is concerned you took a trip to Bolivia and Peru or wherever.

When I was Skiing in BC, every corner had a travel agency that marketed trips to Cuba. I guess you might be able to buy a ticket there, but the catch is the US Gov't says that spending money made in the US in Cuba is illegal, so you need to take a part time job in Vancover or something and raise some money outside the US to spend on your trip.

I dont doubt the US is comtemplating on lifting the embargo because Cuba has a significant oil supply now, right off their shore, and it is considered very pure compared to many other oil resources. I'm not sure how much oil there is though. And all these oil companies are travelling around the vicinity of Cuba trying to score some of it! That shows how desparate America is.

It is so fucking stupid. I is evidence that the cold war is still going on between the governments of the US and Cuba.

I smuggled cuban cigars from Spain, and one of my friends got caught on the way back. The guy just told him he could throw them in the trash or get a huge fine/end up in jail. He chose Door A
Perhaps it was because they were from Spain and/or he was only 18 at the time.
