Im a communist living in America. How do i practice communism while i live in a capitalist country. I mean I have to survive dont I. Please Im really confused about this.

Yah. Join a group, protest regualrly. Whilst we live in a capitalist society, we have to conform (to a certain extent) to capitalist ways, to ensure the proletariat have at least some money. Until the we live inb a communist society, we must carry on like this. Just don't buy from companies that ignore business ethics!

Well, firstly I suggest you get hold of all the literature you can and try to understand fully what communism is. This will cure your problem.

You see, being a 'communist', at the moment, generally means you have belief in some form of communism or socialism, of which there are many.

You cannot 'practice' communism' in the literal sense of the term, unless you somehow instigate a natural world-wide revolution, which overthrows capitalism and all the governments of the world and convince the 'proletariate' to take up the power.

If you really want to do this, thus practicing communism, you will first need to create an econnomic recession, let it snowball into a world wide depression, and create so much revolutionary fervour that all the disconented worked will band together and create a workers state.

As this is very hard to do, it is generally more realistic to become and active member of a communist/socialist party and wait for an economic depression to arrive, at which time you put all your hard reading and activist-instincts to work.

So, as I finish, we have learnt one thing; you cannot actually practice it, but you can learn all about it and prepare for a revolution so that one day you will be able to practice it.

Oh, and tough luck about being a communist in Amerika.

Express yourself, but watch it in regards to any Right Wings or in Fascist populated areas. Normally Nazi's, or those at least around here, please themselves with the beatings of opposing ideaologies (gays, jews, communist)

My point is don't worry about trying to live like a leftist, like not drinking coke or not having fun.

The best you can do is learn Marxism and change your world perspective.
