Falling in love is the ultimate act of revolution, of resistance to today's tedious, socially restrictive, culturally constrictive, humanly meaningless world.


Similarly, love poses a threat to our political system, for it is difficult to convince a man who has a lot to live for in his personal relationships to be willing to fight and die for an abstraction such as the state; for that matter, it may be difficult to convince him to even pay taxes

I definately agree with Crimethinc; Love is an "abstract" action, totally differenent from the alienating world we live in today with money, transactions, strict jobs, boring politics, etc., meanwhile love and fun on the other hand, are the two icons of revolution. We must not only strive for worker's right; But for a less "normal" world, regulated. Everyone is their own odd's ball..but I guess I fear love to be a dangerous extreme. There is alot of proof of that. People kill for love, and hate. The revolution should however be of love and not hate. It's easy to begin thinkin' of ways of "re-education" :P

ditto, that artical was a complete mind fuck when i first read it a few years ago- i have grown up under (semi) conservative parents and i was just starting to read into leftism and i was liek woah that is some awsome idears
