There have been more bombings in London, although a lot smaller, and only one person has been injured. What does this mean?

Best guess? A hoax.
There has been a memo circulated around many buildings to keep eyes open for "a 6'2" Black man, possibly asian, with wires sticking out of his jumper".
These blasts were all very minor - we're talking fireworks grade, not explosives - and you have to ask the question: Why bother? What's pissing me off most is the fact that this is either a chemical attack - in which case everyone's fucked so who cares - or it's a hoax or a failure. No matter which way you look at it, there's no point in them closing the tube lines like they have.
I'm tellin' ya, it's a conspiracy to keep me in this shitty city! They've bloody done it again!

Or could it be that they want to keep having recurring little things like this to slow London down? That's what they were aiming for in the first place...

In response to these bombings in London and the ones of weeks past the New York City police department claims it will now have officers randomly checking people with bags who enter subway stations. I took the subway today and saw no policeman anywhere. I can't imagine the chaos bag checks will cause in the future.
These explosions were failed explosions. The bangs people heard were the detonators of the big bombs going off, which, fortunately, failed to set off the main devices.
There have been reports on the main news of passengers seing a man firing a pistol at a bag after a muffled bang went off.
At at least two of the bomb sites men were seen running away, and passengers tried to catch them.
To me this seems like a copycat cell, without the al Qaeda connections of bomb making speciality as the other group. All the bombs went off within a few minutes, like the other group, but the fact that the bombs didn't work makes them different people.
There are said to be roughly 10 support people per suicide bomber, and these people will still be in the country, but I doubt they had anything to do with this.
I don't know if this is still the case, but yesterday the tube drivers were out on strike becuase of the terrorist threat.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks. I'm interested though, what do they think to gain from slowing London down?
how many people a terrorist kills is more a secondary objective. the main one is to cause terror and chaos. thus, they're called terrorists. so from that point of view, the attacks were a success. yes, only the detonators went off, but londoners panicked, the tube and bus services shut down, and now 10 million people are in their homes scared shitless. as anyone would be if u've been bombed twice within month in the same fashion.
the bottom line with terrorists is, they're only as successful as you let them to be.

Apparently someone has been shot dead on the tube this morning, 5 bullets into him.

good to shoot a man lying on the ground 5 times... that makes it alot better, instead of arresting him or something...

I know, right? "So we can question this guy and possibly save lives.." "Nah, let's fuckin' blow his brains out!" Mind you, saying that, the emergency services did do a really good job during the first bombings.
the police probably went overboard with the 5 bullets into him, without questioning him or anything.
but, from what i've heard on the news, he was wearing a big bulky jacket in the middle of winter, which, logically, they suspected had explosives in it.
that, and him running when they told him to stop, you can understand that they would be edgy.
if u see him trying to detonate a bomb, and your 2 metres away from him, its understandable to be trigger happy

Other than the lack of property damage, is there anything to sugest that this might be a flase flag attack?
That guy they shot yesterday was shot 5 times after being pinned down to the ground.
I'm not sure what to think of it as the guy had been followed for quite some time then ran into Stockwell station, vaulted the security gates, ran down to the platform, and ran into a tube train. You can imagine why the cops were a little trigger happy with recent events in mind.
I posted previously that I thought this was probably a copycat attack, but I'm not so sure now. According to experts home-made explosive has a very short life. If the stuff made for use on the 7th was to be used again they say that it would have deteriorated so much that the detonators would not set it off. So it could be the same cell that is responsible for both attacks.
