resisting arrest with violence

Do what Abbie Hoffman did. Before he entered the store he would go up to some very conventional people and pull out $10.00 and say to them, "Would you please hold this while I go inside and steal something?"

I know a better idea. Don't give them 10 bucks, don't tell them to wait for you to "steal" something, and don't go to the check-in first. I say; Shoplift something then put it in your hat, and walk trough. Easy as hell, the obvious flaw, the 'ole in the system.. If you have to, buy something less and mundane to cover it up :P

Your just jealous that American humour is far superior to so-called British "humour".

Pretty much what nate said. He shoked a lot of people in his time. He wrote a few books like Steal This Book, Woodstock Nation and many others. When he was trieng to get Steal This Book published it was said that, that book would destroy freedom of speech in Amerika because it bashed the system so bad.
P.S. check out my avater

Steal This Book is a work of the true genius.
Absolutely fucken brilliant from cover to cover. And, oddly enough, the copy I read was one that my friend shoplifted.
The only thing about shoplifting, is that if you get caught, you ruin it for everybody.

No-one can beat the subtlety of british humour! I don't really get American humour, I mean, have you tried watching Friends? "You can't drive, your a maniac!" *10 minutes of laughter*

I must concur with Che1990 on this one. Now forgive my bias, I am British myself. But to compare a fantastic comedy like Fawlty Towers, to the rather puzzling Friends, is like comparing the Fur Elise to "Dirrty" >Shudder< . Now I'll admit, the Americans have some very good comedy franchises (Frasier, South Park and Family Guy, to name but a few), but some of the comedies I've seen in America are just puzzling and downright stupid.

Friends isn't American humour, its American stupidity.
Real American humour can be found in The Daily Show, Drew Carey, Family Guy, and the ever classical (and communist sympathizing) I Love Lucy.

Some american comedy is good some is just ridiculous. Alot of comedy plays less off intellect and knowledge as it does. Idiocy and easily amusing antics.
