The Datsuns

I was just wondering if anyone on RevolutionaryLeft.com has heard of "The Datsuns". They are a good rock band from New Zealand. There first album was good and there second one "Outta Sight/Outta Mind" was also good. To listen to there music download Harmonic Generator and Blacken My Thumb. Datsuns rule, too bad all the trendy people like em too, my old man had a 1100 or something like that when I was a kid. I was gonna buy a 200B a few months ago, but it was ratshit.

The second album was Led Zep/Deep Purple imitation crap. The first one was good for dumb jump around rock though. Listen to The D4 as well kids!

Well It was produced by Zeps JPJ's. Yeah them the D4 and Shihad are the most soild things outta NZ.

my mate was hanging in some backstage room with IKTPQ, he says the drummer is the strangest person he's ever met. He says he sat staring uninterupted at a can of beer for 5 minutes then slapped it across the room.

The D4 are a great band, New Zealand has produced some decent music... :lol:

Personally I have their first album (or a copy of it) and it rocks! My favourite will always be the "hit" In Love. I hardly listen to it anymore as I've been growing into more folk and punk lately, but its always fun for a good, quick, no strings attached, mosh out.
