http://www.thing.net/~rdom/ecd/ecd.html

this is a site made to protest against organisations that violate human rights by enabling ordinary poeple to open a html page that uses a program called floodnet that keeps refreshing images that come from the site of the organisation they protest against.
as you know bandwith is expensive and limited if enough poeple do this long enough the attacked site will go offline.

join the virtual sit-in against the minutemen now !!

one person can make a difference.

Thanks for the tip, I saw this site on a Hacktivist segment on TechTV a long time ago and I completely forgot about until now.

However some of the sites got smart and moved their images... so we're getting a lot of "Not Found" messages.

then what do you suggest, attacking without popular support and getting crushed and repessed?

ah the last day for the sit in tomorrow perhaps will we see how many participants there where.

also this form of protest is designed to gobble up as much bandwith as possible costing them a lot of money and hopefully bringing their website's to their knees.
unfortunatly most websites have no limit on bandwith they can use per month day or week whatever its counted in.
so they will remain online no matter what all we can hope for is to get our hands on every kb those websites can pump out so that others cant get access to them.
