CHARLESTON, S.C. - Retired Gen. William Westmoreland, who commanded American troops in Vietnam — the nation's longest conflict and the only war America lost — died Monday night. He was 91.

Westmoreland died of natural causes at Bishop Gadsden retirement home, where he had lived with his wife for several years, said his son, James Ripley Westmoreland.

How shall we dispose of the body: Christian burial or cremation? I vote for cremation ... with napalm.

Just want to point out that Vietnam was not the only war the USA lost. It can be said that the War of 1812 was also a loss because the British still remained in American soil and only left when they felt like it.
