Stalin pretty much can not be credited with the defeat of the nazis in any way. He is concidered one of the worst military leaders of the world and mainly relide souly on his gererals.

It's true that Stalin was "in charge" of the USSR at the time, but he had nothing to do with their victory over the Nazis. The USSR itself, did a lot, if not most, of the work in defeating the Nazis. Still, the USSR after Stalin came to power wasn't that great of a country.

Most people here, including myself, oppose Stalinism.

although i agree with everyone else about stalin (and of course that cpatilism sucks) the soviet people did rally round stalin so he was good propaganda (still i know that that was no excuse)

I think capitalism sucks and the reason why is because
you have to be fake and prostitute yourself to the buyer or seller and become his ***** to get him to buy or sell something he or you needs anyway.
Also because you have to pay for something you need and in communism they give it to you because you need it. Anyone who needs something gets it and anyone who can give something gives it. This is what love is about.
Also money causes an infinite number of problems in the world (the root of evil) and people tend to do bad things when they are in threat of losing it which is natural, for us to do all we can to survive. This is why drug dealers kill eachother and during the stock market crash a lot of people committed suicide.
In capitalism it is the goal to "capitalize" off people&#39;s needs and wants and charge them money and exploit the work they do. In communism you work for the betterment of society and no one is poor or exploited. There is nothing causing you to feel threatened, and nothing to motivate you to threaten others. The natural human emotion is peace because of happiness and this can only be acheived if you rid yourself of fear and jealously aimed at others in the world. Socialism will bring communism and that will save the world.

There&#39;s probably a million other reasons but for real I think that communism is coming to the people. The key is to teach your children and the youth to love others and genuinely care that their lives are comfortable. Help them to be troubled by the circumstances of the homeless and the poor, and teach them that it doesn&#39;t have to be that way if everyone had compassion.

It amazes me what some of the Stalinists members of this forum say. Stalin defeated Nazism &#33; No talk of Stalin&#39;s "Social Fascist" policy aiding the rise of Nazism in Germany and so on.
